The Grade II listed Busselton Jetty stretches 1.8 kilometers across the protected waters of Geographe Bay and is the longest wooden walkway in the southern hemisphere and the second longest in the world. Just 2.5 hours' drive south of Perth, in the popular seaside resort of Busselton, the Busselton Jetty attracts over 460,000 visitors each year. As one of the most popular tourist attractions in Western Australia, it is a must-see for every visitor to the Margaret River wine region.
As you arrive, board the jetty and drive 15 minutes across the ocean to reach the Underwater Observatory, located at the far end of the jetty. Explore with a guide and descend 8 meters to the sea floor via a 60-step spiral staircase. Marvel at wondrous sea creatures and beautiful expanses of labyrinthine coral that spread into the depths. Your ticket includes a free return journey by train, a 40-minute guided tour of the underwater observatory, a day pass for the dock and an exclusive card game for the Busselton dock. The tour ends in the interpretation center.
