At the Memorial de Caen Museum, you can relive the history of the 20th century while learning about important events between the end of the First World War and the end of the Cold War.

The museum has a whole department dedicated to D-Day and is the only museum in Normandy that records the intensity of the invasion that followed. It helps visitors understand what happened during the D-Day invasion of Normandy and how this 100-day period represented a major turning point in history.

Your entrance to the museum is valid for 24 hours from the date of your first entry. Optional headphones are available but the cost is not included in the price.

The museum has a restaurant and café for meals and refreshments.
